NPIWC-II INITIATIVE

Agriculture is the backbone of Pakistan’s economy with the contribution of 22.9% to GDP. The Ministry of National Food Security and Research has taken an initiative by launching the Phase-II of one of its successful program; National Program For Improvement of Watercourses “ NPIWC” for saving precious irrigation water, improving water conveyance and the field productivity.
